9 Months Old!

I can't believe she is 9 Months Old Already! Time is going by so fast and before I know it baby #2 will be here! She is changing so much everyday and doing so many new things. Her hair is growing fast now and getting little baby curls (so cute). She has become the Queen of expressions. All of her cute little faces just make our hearts melt. She broke her 7th tooth last week; the bottom left incisor. She hasn't been sleeping as good lately though and I think it is because of all of the new teeth. Starting yesterday she has become a pro at pulling herself up on just about anything. She loves pulling herself up onto her toy piano and her pack n play. Today she just started feeding herself her puffs, little melt in your mouth treats kind of like Cheerios. Last weekend she also started saying "Ma Ma" and really meaning it. When she is tired or frustrated with me she says it and it is just so cute! She has also been walking around the furniture and from toy table to toy table with a lot more confidence, holding on of course. However, she has gotten brave a couple times and let go and she can stand for about 1-2 seconds before she loses her balance. She still scoots instead of crawls but much faster so I think she will actually walk before she crawls for real.

She loves the outdoors.
Especially now that the weather is nicer.

She found a leaf in her seat.
How Cool!

Feeding herself Puffs this morning after breakfast.
What a big girl!

Bedtime Stories with Grandpa

Kennedy has really started to enjoy getting read to lately. The past couple of months she has like books but she wanted to flip the pages fast and chew on the edges. Now, she knows that their is a story that goes with the pictures and she is interested. Especially at bedtime. Her two favorite books are "Where's My Nose" and "Grandpa Loves Me"

Pumpkin Pickin

Sunday we decided to head out to the orchard near hear and pick a pumpkin for Kennedy. It turned out that it wasn't that nice of a place. We thought there would be lots more to do, but we had fun anyway. Kennedy loved being outside and hanging out with her Mom and Dad.

Kennedy found one she likes.
Just her size!

What a pretty girl on a pretty fall evening.

Hanging out with Great Grandma and Grandpa

Last Wednesday we went down to Buckeye to spend some time with Grandma and Grandpa while Mom and Dad did some yard work for them. Kennedy had a good time playing and harassing Tuttie, the cat. Grandpa was impressed that she knew how to say "Papa" and was calling Grandpa Papa when she was reaching for him. It was really cute!

So tired. Great Grandma is sooo comfy!
Look how big she looks!

Girl's trip to Peoria

Last weekend Mom, Kennedy and I packed up and headed for Peoria, picking up Kendra on the way. Cate invited us down to help her pick out her wedding dress. We had such a good time and were so excited to see Cate dressing up in all those wedding dresses. We even tried on a few bridesmaid dresses while we were there. Too bad I a so pregnant that I look pretty silly in them, but Kendra did a nice job of being the model. After the fitting, we spent a little time at Alan and Cate's house then headed out to dinner at Avanti's once Drew got in from Davenport.

"Love my Uncle Drew!"

The Happy Couple, ahhh, how cute!

Tired Baby.

She loves her Daisy Dog. Grandma let her go for a puppy ride.
She thought it was pretty neat and so did Daisy.

Every once in a while Grandpa gets to feed Kennedy her dinner. She was sooo sleepy from skipping her afternoon nap that she almost couldn't stay awake to finish.

Yummy Yum, Kennedy, just a little more before night night.

Almost done... You can make it!
She was still opening her mouth to get another bite despite how tired the poor little girl was!

About two minutes later she was asleep on the couch.
Just a little cat nap, it was way to early for bedtime.
Don't you just love the Grandpa rail!

Ms. Personality.

Kennedy is the queen of personality. She has so many different faces and she thinks everyone of them is hilarious!

Her fake mad look.
Have been trying forever to get this one on camera and finally got it! She does this and then laughs!

Precious Angel.
Look at her sleeping on her folded hands!

So Excited and Amazed!
First time a real bow would fit in her hair.

I'm so cool!
So happy to be sitting in a bin with her toys.

Clear Lake

After our adventure in Mason City we decided to stop at Clear Lake for a walk since it was such a nice day outside. We walked up and down the lake front and decided to take a break and let Kennedy play. She loves to swing!

Look at that cool girl swing in her shades! :)

Her first trip down a slide.
She didn't really know what to think of it but liked it better when Daddy rode with her.

Daddy's Girl!

What a beautiful view.
Kennedy was getting a little sleepy.

Adventure Day...

Well it's been two weeks since I've posted, I guess we've been a little busy, but I have still been able to snap a few pictures.

Kennedy learned how to drink from a straw. She likes to drink like a big girl but she also knows that she can play in it by sucking it up and then spitting it out so we have to watch her close. :) What a big girl!

Saturday was a rainy, gloomy day and Grandma and Grandpa went to Minnesota to pick up some tractor tires. We spent the day hanging out and playing and we even got some cleaning done too.

Sunday it was a beautiful day so we decided to take an adventure to Mason City to find Daddy a new pair of shoes. We also stopped at Clear Lake for a walk when we were done.

Funny Face Girl

Kennedy is the queen of funny faces... I think she gets it from her daddy! She knows it makes everyone laugh so she tries harder and harder to make up sillier ones everyday. She's learned how to wink, well for the most part. Every once in a while she gets it with just one eye but usually its a both eye wink... so incredibly cute!!

I can never get the camera to go quite quick enough when she is doing her winkies so here is an almost wink.

There's a winky!
I had to use the sport quick shutter speed on the camera so there is no flash.

She got lots of new toys at the garage sale last weekend and she just loves her play table.
She also likes sitting like a big girl in her Uncle Drew's rocking chair.
