Funny Face Girl

Kennedy is the queen of funny faces... I think she gets it from her daddy! She knows it makes everyone laugh so she tries harder and harder to make up sillier ones everyday. She's learned how to wink, well for the most part. Every once in a while she gets it with just one eye but usually its a both eye wink... so incredibly cute!!

I can never get the camera to go quite quick enough when she is doing her winkies so here is an almost wink.

There's a winky!
I had to use the sport quick shutter speed on the camera so there is no flash.

She got lots of new toys at the garage sale last weekend and she just loves her play table.
She also likes sitting like a big girl in her Uncle Drew's rocking chair.

Bye-Bye Rubber Ducky!

Kennedy is growing up so fast. She is scooting around on her belly like a little sea turtle and getting around so fast. Her personality is developing more and more each day. She is a real go getter and loves attention. Yesterday she even pulled herself up to standing for the first time. I was getting clothes out of a storage bin and one second she is sitting quietly next to me and wouldn't you know it... now she is standing next to me holding on the the bin! I couldn't believe it! She will be walking in no time.

She loves getting rides on her tractor from her daddy. She takes it so seriously.

Bath time last night was going great and all of a sudden... Uh Oh! Kennedy pooped in the tub! Tom got her out and was dangling her over the tub with her feet propped on the side "What do I do?" It was so funny. All of a sudden she started pooping more and pooped all over the side of the tub and on the wash cloth bar :) "Oh my gosh!" I grabbed a towel, Mom came in and grabbed Kennedy from me while I was cleaning the poop off of her... and dad grabbed the baby tub. Well before he noticed Kennedy's little rubber ducky it was too late. Down the toilet it went! We thought it might be small enough to make it through the plumbing but we were wrong... Dad and Tom spent the next hour and a half outside with the toilet prying it free. They finally got it out, but we had to say goodbye to ducky anyway. Poor rubber ducky!

Happy Birthday Great-Grandpa Kennedy!

Grandpa Kennedy turned 92! on Sept 16 so on Sunday the whole family went over to their house to celebrate with him. We had a good time hanging out with all the family and Kennedy enjoyed showing off for everyone as well. We forgot our camera so we will have to wait for Alan to send us his pictures before I can put any up.

Kennedy all dressed up to go say Happy Birthday to Great-Grandpa.
What a cutie!

Playing with Cate and Alan.

Since Alan and Cate decided to get married in Iowa, they will be making several trips up here in the next several months. This weekend they had their marriage class at the church. They got here late Friday night and had to get up early Saturday morning to head to Ames. Kennedy was kind enough to get up to say good morning before they left.

Silly faces for Aunt Cate.

What a happy baby she is!

Hamming it up for the camera.

Playing with daddy before bath time.
Alan and Cate were very tired when they got home from their class but they still had fun playing with baby girl before bedtime.

Four Years! Happy Anniversary!

September 16, 2010...

Another year full of changes. A baby in January, another one on the way, quit my job, Tom got a job at the USDA, a move to Iowa, living with my parents while we try to sell our house in TN... I think that's enough for one year. It's been great and I wouldn't change a thing. Well, I would like to sell our house, but it will in good time.

Our Anniversary was on Thursday this year so we waited until Friday night to celebrate. Tom got home from work and we kissed Kennedy goodnight and we went out to dinner at Porter's on Main in Iowa Falls. It was really nice to get out just the two of us and have some alone time. After dinner, I decided that since Tom took me out for a nice dinner, I would take him out for some drinks. We saw a bar on the way in that had some live music that night so we decided to stop in. It turned out that we had to wait over an hour and a half until the band finally started to play and they were no good. I guess we have been spoiled by the music in Nashville. It was fun to just hang out anyway. We still made it home by 10:30 but that is late for us now a days. :)

Four Years, Baby! Time flies when your having fun!

2010... Family of Three... Love you Kennedy!
