long week

This has been quite a long week. It started off great with good weather, that always makes me have a good day. Monday and Tuesday it was sunny and nice with Tuesday getting up to 81 degrees. These pictures were taken Tuesday. I got home from working baseball games and we made dinner. (Left over grilled chicken turned into yummy salads) We then went outside and sat by the fire pit for a little over an hour and unwound and then in to watch "The Biggest Loser". The rest of the week has been cold and rainy!!! I sat out a baseball game on Wednesday in the wind and 38 degrees!!! YUCK!! Yesterday's game got cancelled so I got to come home after the clinic but I ended up staying at the clinic late, oh well, you'll have that. Today I had my post op appointment with my surgean. He reassured me that everything went well during surgery and I am on the right track. He said to just keep things up naturally for the next 6 months, try to lose some weight and if nothing happens after that then he will see me in 6 months to talk about IUI.

We had a full moon on Tuesday night just as the clouds were moving in. It looked really cool as it was poking in and out of the clouds with that cool moon glow. I had a hard time getting a good picture but this one is the best with the tree and the glow of the clouds. I think it is pretty.

Here is Tom enjoying his fire pit. He spent the afternoon digging up the base for it. We spent last fall moving it back and forth from the side yard. Now it has a permanant home in the middle of the yard on a nice brick base. He did a great job, it looks really good out there. Its so peaceful to just sit by the fire on a cool night and talk about our days. I recommend it to all couples!!!

Yard Work

>
Its a Riley EXTREME Closeup!!!!

Tom is spending the day today in the yard. It has been a long winter and we have not figured out how to break the dogs of a digging habit. So...He gets to spend his first day of his spring break filling holes and planting grass. Sounds like fun, huh. If anyone has any suggestions on how to break dogs of digging holes when you are not there to stop them, PLEASE leave a comment and let us know!!!!!!

Look at the yard, last Fall we had a nice yard, full of grass and hole free. Now we have patchy grass and muddy puppies when it rains!!!!

So today has been a busy day already. I got up and went to the grocery store. Then, I came home and cooked breakfast for Tom and myself...mmmm...scrambled eggs and english muffins. I then had to go to the dentist...FUN and get 2 out of my last 3 fillings done. He didn't have time to do the 3rd because I had to get to work. Tonight we have our first official baseball game. At least it is nice weather so I will be able to enjoy the outdoors today.
