First Outing...

So I have no new pictures to add because I have had a few hectic days and taking pictures didn't cross my mind at the right times. Tom has been working a lot to make up for having to take Friday off to go to his Reserves weekend so, I have had my hands full with Kennedy. Monday was an extremely long day. Kennedy was really fussy and gassy and didn't want to sleep much. Every time I laid her down in her crib she threw up all over herself so I ended up just letting her sleep on me or in the swing.

Tuesday was going to be the same way with Tom working a 13.5 hour shift so I decided to get out of the house for a little while. I have never taken her out by myself and the only place she has been is at the doctor. I decided to take her to my work for a little while. I started getting ready around 8:30 am and was out the door at 11:15. Not bad :) Every one at the clinic thought she was just the cutest thing that ever was and of course she is so how could I disagree. We stayed for just over 2 hours and she only got a little fussy and I gave her a bottle and she settled right down. We got home and we were both so tired that Kennedy took a 3 hour nap and I took a hour and a half nap.

Grandma Pat is coming for a visit today. She should be landing in about 20 minutes and she is going to be staying for a whole week. We are so glad that she is going to be here, especially because Tom will be gone from tomorrow night until Sunday night.

Catching up again.

Friday...
We get the threat of snow here in Nashville way too much and nothing ever happens. The weather was calling for snow again on Friday and into Saturday but we really didn't believe them. Well, sure enough, right when they said it was going to happen it started snowing. They called for up to 10" however, we only got about 4 with about a 1/2 in of ice on top. That is still a lot for TN.

Kennedy's first snow storm. She was too little to go outside in it but I brought her to the door to watch her Daddy and her puppies play out in it. The flash just picked up the snow so I don't think you can tell that Tom and the dogs are out there wrestling in the snow. This was Shirley's best day! She had so much fun playing outside.

All cuddled up asleep on Mommy before bedtime.

Saturday...
Yesterday we really didn't do a whole lot. We slept in once we got Kennedy back down to sleep after her 7:00am feeding. The rest of the day we pretty much layed around the house and were lazy but I think that we deserved it. This was really the first day that Tom, me and the baby got to spend a whole day together. It was really nice.
Looking up at Daddy and smiling. Such a Daddy' Girl!
