This weekend we had to say goodbye to one of our very close Aunts. Grandma Kaufman's sister, Ruthanne, passed away of breast cancer last Thursday very early morning. I had the chance to go to hospice last Sunday, the 8th, to say a sad goodbye. Ruthanne had a huge impact on so many people, including my dad and it was special to hear all about her wonderful life yesterday at her memorial. We also got the chance to see many of our relatives that we only see once in a great while. It had been almost 15 years since I have seen some of Dad's cousins, Aunts and Uncles.
Sunday afternoon we went over to Marcy and Dean's house to spend time with Grandma and her Sister, Virginia's, family. All of Dad's brothers and sister were there too which hasn't happened in over 3 years.
Aunt Donna got to steal Kennedy for a few minutes from her baby crazy Aunt Marcy.
The memorial to celebrate Ruthanne's life was on Monday and it was a very nice service. Afterward we got to spend some time hanging out at Grandma's.

My youngest cousin Lindsey, 6, finally decided Kennedy was okay to play with for a little while. She hasn't thought much of her the past couple of times that she has seen her but she is warming up, little by little.
