A Kaufman Christmas

Christmas morning we slept in a little to allow Mom and Kim to finish getting ready. Dad's job was easy, all he had to do was keep Gwyn entertained, the two of them look so peaceful asleep in the chair.

Gwyn's first Christmas!!!! She looks like one of the packages!!!

Uncle Tom and his little Gwyni poo!!! Isn't she just adorable. This was the first time Tom got to meet her and he just couldn't get enough. He was holding her and playing with her every chance he could get!!!

Look at all those presents...And ya, most of them are for Gwyn...Really, do you think she's spoiled???? Geez Grandma and Grandpa!!!

A Kaufman Christmas

We celbrated our family Christmas Saturday morning... Friday night, Joey and Kim Coyle came up from Brimfield to celbrate with us. Kim left Saturday afternoon and Joey stayed up and went home with Alan on Monday morning. It was so great to see them. We used to see them everyday since I started babysitting Joe, like 14 years ago, now the moments are cherished when we spend time with them.

Drew brought his girlfriend Kendra to Christmas with him. Everyone else had met her already... This is the first time that Tom and I had got a chance to meet her. I guess we approve.... Really, she is a sweet girl and perfect for Drew.

Friday night we all just hung out in the family room and played catch phrase...Look at Kimmy's rosy cheeks :)

Look at those sleeping puppies. I think they got wore out running around in the mounds of snow drift out on the farm. Man, they love the snow.

A Kennedy Christmas

We made the long trip up to Iowa for Christmas. We left the afternoon of the 23rd and headed up to Macomb to stop in and spend the night with Drew and to break up the drive. We got about to St. Louis and hit an ice storm so a 7 hour trip turned into about a 9.5 hour trip. We got up the next morning after it had iced and snowed all night and left early to make it to Mom and Dad's. It took a while to get to the Quad Cities but after that the roads were clear and smooth sailing. We made it to Mom and Dad's about 2 in the afternoon on Christmas Eve and were ready to just relax.

Christmas Day we got up early and headed over to Aunt Donna and Uncle Jewel's in Cambridge, IA. First though, we stopped to pick up Grandma and Grandpa.

Almost everyone was able to make it for at least a little while.

If anyone has a house for celebrating Christmas in, its Aunt Donna, check out all her decorations!!!! She puts these up and takes them down every year and the dining room is just the begining... I always look forward to going over to her house for the holidays. Its so nice and cozy and full of holiday spirit!!!
